Sessions
Sessions are a record of connections to Pro Server, or a group that is hosted by Pro Server.
A session is created each time an application is connected to a group.
This includes logging on to DriveWorks Live, when hosted either through the Live Application or IIS, and connecting to the Pro Server itself.
Sessions allows the user to see information (see below) about who accessed the group, even when they have disconnected.
If the sessions are unused, they are kept until the Maximum Idle Duration (Settings > Sessions) is exceeded.
The following information is included in the sessions table:
- Product Name
This is the name of the DriveWorks module that is connected to the group, for example:
- DriveWorks Administrator
- DriveWorks Autopilot
- DriveWorks Live
- DriveWorks Live Runtime (Browser)
- DriveWorks Pro Server
- DriveWorks User
- DriveWorks Data Management
- SOLIDWORKS Integration
- Machine
The name of the machine connected to the group
- Groups - The name of the group hosted by the service that the module is connected to
- Local User Name - The Windows User name used to log into the machine, that is connected
- Creation Time - The date and time the session was created
- Last Activity - The date and time of the last activity for this session
- Remote Address - IP Address of the machine connected to the group
- Culture - Regional settings of the machine connected to the group, for example "en-GB"
- Time Zone - Time zone of the machine connected to the group, for example "GMT Standard Time"
- User Agent - The program used to access the group
- For DriveWorks applications this will be the Operating System of the machine
- For browser access this will be the browser information
