This document describes the types of rules that can be applied to models that have advanced feature parameters captured.
Driving advanced feature dimensions increases model generation time. Where possible capture feature dimensions (distances, numbers and angles) as dimensions rather than an advanced feature parameter.
During model generation captured dimensions are driven before captured advanced feature parameters. If the advanced feature parameter has also been captured as a dimension the value being driven into the advanced feature parameter will override the captured dimension.
Parameter | Input Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Direction 2 | True/False | Sets whether to create a bidirectional circular component pattern feature |
Equal Spacing | True/False | Sets whether to equally space the pattern instances in Direction 1, Spacing will be Defaulted to 360 |
Equal Spacing 2 | True/False | Sets whether to equally space the pattern instances in Direction 2, Spacing will be Defaulted to 360 |
Pattern Qty | Integer | Sets the total number of instances for this local circular pattern |
Pattern Qty 2 | Integer | Sets the total number of instances for this local circular pattern in Direction 2 |
Reverse Direction | True/False | Sets whether the direction axis for this local circular pattern is reversed |
Skipped Items | PipeBar Delimited List of items to skip (for example 5|12|8) | Sets the list of skipped items for this local circular pattern |
Spacing | Angle | Sets the spacing between instances for this local circular pattern |
Spacing 2 | Angle | Sets the spacing between instances for this local circular pattern in Direction 2 |
Synchronize Flexible Components | True/False | Sets whether to synchronize the movement of flexible subassembly components |
