This document outlines the various settings that should be applied to optimize SOLIDWORKS for generating models using DriveWorks.
These settings could also apply when capturing model data.
SOLIDWORKS system options can be found from the SOLIDWORKS Tools menu, select Options:

Additional to the options applied within SOLIDWORKS we also recommend the setting File name extensions is checked in Windows File Explorer.
Apply this to any machine that can generate models (DriveWorks User, DriveWorks Administrator and DriveWorks Autopilot machines)
