License Manager

The License Manager shows DriveWorks licenses stored on the machine hosting DriveWorks Pro Server.

DriveWorks Live licenses will not be displayed.

These can only be managed through the License Manager tool.

See Licensing DriveWorks Live for more information.

The following buttons are available from the top of the page:

The filter box will filter the list on all of the column headings from the list.

Repair Selected

Repair Selected will attempt to repair a license that has become untrusted.

The status column will display a comment stating the license is untrusted.

A license can become untrusted for a number of reasons, the more common of which are:

  • When a machine has been restored from a backup
  • When a machine has had key hardware components added or replaced
  • When time and date settings have been altered
  • When the MAC address of a machine changes (can occur on VM's that do not have a static MAC address assigned)
  • When Windows updates have affected trusted storage

To repair untrusted licenses:

  1. Select the untrusted License from the license manager.

Multiple licenses can be selected and repaired at once.

  2. Click Repair Selected.
  3. Pro Server will attempt to repair the licenses.

Repair All

If all licenses in the License Manager have become untrusted:

  2. Pro Server will attempt to repair the licenses.
