Add New Team

This Specification Flow Task will allow you to add a new team. The user running this task needs to be a member of a team that has permission to modify Group Security.

Properties

Members Can CaptureTRUE to allow members of this team to capture models.
Members Can Edit All SpecificationsTRUE to allow members of the team to edit all Specifications.
Members Can Edit Group SecurityTRUE to allow members of the team to edit group security.
New Team Display NameNew team display name.
New Team NameThe name of the team.
TitleChanges the Title (not the name) of the task.
When applying this task to a Specification Macro the title can be changed by clicking in the header of the applied task.

New Team Display Name"Sales Team"Sales TeamThe display name of the team that will be created. Display name can be edited once the team has been created.
New Team Name"Engineering Team"Engineering TeamThe name of the team that will be created. This cannot be edited after the team has been created.

Using the Task in a Specification Macro

This task has different types of Outputs. For more information about Outputs see Specification Macros Task Node.

Outputs are only available within Specification Macros. Currently Outputs are not available for Specification Flow.

Status Outputs

This task supports Status Outputs. These can be used to perform different actions depending on what the status outcome of the task is. For more information see Status Outputs in the Task Node Outputs section of Specification Macros Task Node.

The status output navigation is as follows:

Success

  • Team was created and added to the group.

Success with Warnings

  • N/A - should never be fulfilled.

Failed (one of the following occurred)

  • User does not have permission to edit group security.
  • Team name was not specified.
  • Team already exists.
  • General failure - Check the specification report for more details.
