CPQ Sales Portal Licensing

License activation for CPQ Sales Portal licensing is managed from DriveWorks Pro Server Web Application - License Manager.

The following license types can be activated and managed for the CPQ Sales Portal module.

  • CPQ Sales Portal System Administrator

    Responsible for the initialization, setup and maintenance of the deployment of the CPQ Sales Portal, including business object administration.

  • CPQ Sales Portal Administrator

    Responsible for the management of data, such as price lists and products, required during the sales process.

  • CPQ Sales Portal Assigned User

    Allows access the CPQ Sales Portal.

  • CPQ Sales Portal Shared User

    Allows access the CPQ Sales Portal.

System Administrator, Administrator and Assigned User licenses are assigned in DriveWorks Pro Server Web Application - User Licenses.

Shared User licenses are consumed automatically by all other users with a login to the implementation.

Activating a license within DriveWorks Pro Server

To activate a license from the Pro Server web application, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Pro Server web application in your web browser.

    If you are following these steps from the machine that Pro Server is installed and running on, this is likely to be:

    http://localhost:54380

  2. Open the License Manager from the left-hand menu and enter your elevation password.
  3. Click Add License at the top left from the main interface of the Pro Server web application.
  4. Enter the license codes to be activated in the left-hand box area. Multiple codes can be activated at once.
  5. Enter your details and click Add license.

Your licenses will now be activated and ready to assign to users within a Shared Group.

Assigning a license to a user

Licenses are assigned to users for DriveWorks Pro Server Web Application.
