CPQ Sales Portal Overview

The CPQ Sales Portal is a new module of DriveWorks Pro, helping you streamline your sales processes.

With the new CPQ Sales Portal module, you can:

• Create and manage custom quotations from a new web-based portal
• Integrate DriveWorks configurators to configure same-but-different products
• Automatically trigger the generation of manufacturing data and documentation
• Apply multi-level permissions to manage user access

There are several key aspects to administering the DriveWorks CPQ Sales Portal module.

• Initial setup and configuration of the module
• Customizing workflows using DriveWorks projects
• Management of data used for creating quotations
• Business object attribute customizations

The two administrator license types of the CPQ Sales Portal module represent the two types of users who are responsible for the tasks above:

1. System administrators - responsible for the setup and maintenance of the deployment of the CPQ Sales Portal, as well as business object administration.
2. CPQ administrators - responsible for the management of data, such as price lists and products, required during the sales process.
