Specification Properties

Specification Properties

The specification properties task provides the ability to have additional columns of information appear in the Specification Explorer for specifications created from the active project.

To Add a Specification Property

1. Click the "Add" button on the Command Bar.
2. Give the new specification property a name.
3. Press Enter or Return to finish.

To Set Up a Rule for a Specification Property

To set up a rule for a specification property, select the required property and click the"Build" button on the Command Bar.

To Rename a Specification Property

1. Select the specification property to rename in the specification property list.
2. Click the "Rename" button on the Command Bar.
3. Type a new name for the specification property.
4. Press Enter or Return to finish.

To Reorder a Specification Property List

First, select the property that you want to move. Then, select one of the following options from the Command Bar:

• Move Up - Moves the selected specification property upwards by one place in
• Move Down - Moves the selected specification property downwards by one place in

To Delete a Specification Property

1. Select the specification property you want to delete in the specification property list.
2. Click the "Delete" button on the Command Bar.
