The Position DimXpert Annotation Generation Task will position a DimXpert annotation relative to the model space.
For this Task to work correctly it is advised to use the Zoom To Fit Generation Task.
| Property Name | Description |
|---|---|
| (Name) | The unique name for this task. |
| Annotation Name | The name of the DimXpert annotation to position. |
| Relative X Position | Moves the dimension to a position relative to the total visible model space. Specify a decimal percentage i.e. 0.5 for 50%. |
| Relative Y Position | Moves the dimension to a position relative to the total visible model space. Specify a decimal percentage i.e. 0.5 for 50%. |
| View Name | The name of the view that the annotation will be moved relative too. If no view is specified the current active view will be used. |
To find the View name and the DimXpert annotation name navigate to the DimXpert tab in the SOLIDWORKS Manager Pane.
When this task is added the properties are Static by default. See How To: Change A Static Property To A Dynamic Property to enable rules to be built on these properties.
