Autopilot Settings

The Autopilot Settings task provides remote control of any DriveWorks Autopilot that is running and connected to a Shared Group that is open in DriveWorks Administrator.

When DriveWorks Autopilot machines are located they will display in the main window.

Individual Groups

When an Individual Group is open in DriveWorks Administrator the Autopilot Settings screen will display the message:

A Shared Group is required to see Autopilot machines.

The main window displays a snapshot of each DriveWorks Autopilot machine which is updated at regular intervals.

Listed next to each snapshot are the following pieces of information about the DriveWorks Autopilot machine:

  • The machines name
  • The machines operating system
  • The DriveWorks Autopilot functions
  • Latest received messages
  • An Open details... link

Set the function of DriveWorks Autopilot

This facility allows the work load placed on each DriveWorks Autopilot machine to be distributed over multiple machines.

The function of each DriveWorks Autopilot machine can be set by checking the functions box next to the machine snapshot.

The available functions are:

  • Generate ModelsAllows all outputs required from SOLIDWORKS to be generated on the selected machine (the machine must have SOLIDWORKS installed).
  • Process SpecificationsAllows each specification to be processed on the selected machine.
  • 3D PreviewAllows 3D models to be displayed in a 3D Preview Box control and will be generated on the selected machine (the machine must have SOLIDWORKS installed when the 3D Preview Box control is running in Autopilot Mode).
  • Process EmailsAllows all required Email outputs to be processed from the selected machine.
  • Process Triggered ActionsAllows all Triggered Actions to be processed from the selected machine.
A single DriveWorks Autopilot machine operating alone will require all functions to be checked.
