This example outlines ways you can use the DriveWorks 3D Decal Entity to enhance the user experience of your configurator.
Will insert a decal onto a named face.
Property Name | Description |
---|---|
(Name) | The unique name for this task. |
Face Name | The name of the Face that the decal will be applied to. |
Image File Name | The full file name of the image to apply. |
Remove Existing Decals | TRUE to remove existing decals from all Faces, FALSE (default) to leave all existing decals in place. |

Property Name | Example Rule | Example Result | Meaning |
---|---|---|---|
Face Name | "DecalMount" | DecalMount | The name given to the Face that you want to apply the decal to. |
Image File Name | "C:\My Documents\Decals\Logo.png" | C:\My Documents\Decals\Logo.png | The full file path to the image file to be used as the decal. |
Remove Existing Decals | TRUE | TRUE | TRUE will remove any existing decals that already exist on the model before applying the new decal. FALSE leaves all the decals in place. |
