Preview Document Name

The Preview Document Name property determines the DriveWorks 3D file document to be displayed.

Property Type: Static

Default Value: null

Hierarchical Reference: ControlName.PreviewDocumentName

This property, when set, enables Assemble to Order Mode for the 3D Preview Box.

To set this value a DriveWorks 3D File must have been created.

To Change the Default Value

The default value of the property can be changed by typing the document name value directly into the caption property field or by the following:

1. Click in the property for the control to be changed
2. Click the drop down button at the end of the value field  
3. Select the document to display from the drop down list

A rule can also be built for this property by changing the type to dynamic.

Please note the following when using dynamic rules:

• When the result is the name of a valid DriveWorks 3D Document, that document will be loaded in the 3D Preview Control
• If the result is an invalid name, no preview will be loaded
• If the result is blank, ("") the 3D Preview Control will fall back to Autopilot Mode
