Use SOLIDWORKS Extension Suffix

This property is only applicable when running the 3D Preview control in Autopilot Mode.

It is also only applicable when the Generation Method property is set to OnDemand.

See 3D Preview Box for more information.

Specifies whether to include the SOLIDWORKS file type extension (.e.g. -SLDASM or -SLDPRT) in the file name of the .drive3d file that will be created when using Autopilot Mode.

False will omit this from the file name, True will include it.

If the suffix is omitted all parts and assemblies must have unique file names.

Property Type: Static

Default Value: False

All preview controls created prior to 15 will have their default set to True so that legacy behaviour is maintained.

Setting this property to True means that the .drive3d file will be created with the extension in the filename e.g. Cupboard.sldprt will be Cupboard-sldprt.drive3d. (This is legacy behaviour)

Setting this property to False means that the .drive3d will not include the file type extension in the filename e.g. Cupboard.sldprt will be Cupboard.drive3d.
