What's New Search Rules

DriveWorks 8 introduces the capability to search rules used in a project.

The search rules tool takes 2 forms:

• Search Rules - Appears on the DriveWorks toolbar and will return a list of every rule used in the project.
• Find All References - Is used from the rule builder and will return a list of every rule in the project that uses the selected item

Search Rules

The Search Rules tool is available from the DriveWorks Administrator toolbar.

Selecting the Search Rules tool will open the Search Rules dialog and will immediately begin populating the list with all rules used throughout the project. This includes the following rule types:

• Component Set - All rules used for models and drawings
• Document
• Control property
• Navigation Decision Rule
• Specification Setting
• Variable
