Specification Navigation Module

The Specification Navigation module provides the navigation links as defined in Form Navigation and the Specification Flow.

The Form Navigation dictates when the Next and Previous links appear.

The Specification Flow dictates any transitions that can happen during a specification.

This module appears by default on the Specify Page (see Default Web pages section in the topic Modules)

Editing the Specification Navigation Module

The module can have the following settings applied:

Hide UI - Default value is unchecked. When checked the default form navigation will be hidden. This will enable in-form navigation to be adopted using Macro buttons that trigger the Skip to Form task.

To access settings for the Specification Navigation module:

1. Start Personal Web Edition or DriveWorks Live and Login when the Login page appears in your browser.

Once logged in, type setup at the end of the current address shown in the browser address bar, click Go to or hit Return to go to the address.

The address bar of your browser will now be http://localhost:8020/setup/Default.aspx
The setup page below will now be displayed.
Click the skins link from the page navigation just under the DriveWorks Live Setup heading.

The skins.aspx page will now be displayed.
Click the Preview link under the required skin to open a new page that displays how the skin will look.
Return to the skin.aspx page and click the Apply link, under the required skin, to apply the selected skin to the theme.

Return to the Setup home page

Click the setup home link, just under the DriveWorks Live Setup heading.

To Return to the Site home page

Click the site home link, just under the DriveWorks Live Setup heading.

2. Navigate to the Web page that contains the module to be edited.

Default Web Pages

The Web Theme contains the following pages by default. Expand each section to learn more about that page and how it can be modified.

Integration Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/Integration

The Integration page supports integrating DriveWorks Live into external web sites.

Login Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/Login

The login page contains the Login Module.

Home Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/

The Home page contains the following modules:

Menu Module - Positioned in the sidebar
Markup Control Module - Positioned at the top of the main content area
Projects Module - Positioned in the main content area

Specify Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/Apps/ProjectName

Spaces in Projects Names will be replaced with %20

The Specify page contains the following modules:

Specification Navigation module - Positioned in the sidebar
Specification Form Module - Positioned in the main content area
Specification Tasks Module - Positioned at the bottom of the main content area

History Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/History

The History page contains the following modules:

Menu module - Positioned in the sidebar
Specification History Module - Positioned in the main content area

History (Specification) Page

URL: http://localhost:8020/History/Specification Name

At least one Specification must exist in the Group to access this page

Spaces in Specification Names will be replaced with %20

The History (Specification) page contains the following modules:

Menu module - Positioned in the sidebar
Specification Details Module - Positioned in the main content area

Logout URL

Typing bye in the address bar of the current URL will force a log out from the DriveWorks Live session.

3. Switch to Editing Mode.

Switch to Editing Mode:

Click the edit mode link on the required page.
Depending on the Theme being used this could be displayed as one of the following:

The page will now be displayed in Editing mode and will display the available boundaries in which modules can sit
