Parameters captured from drawings are now available alongside those captured from models.
The Drawing Rules task has been removed from the DriveWorks task explorer and is now incorporated within the Model Rules task in DriveWorks Administrator.
Once the Model Rules task has been selected a hierarchical tree view of the captured assembly structure is shown in the model rules window. Drawings are listed as children of the model they have been captured to.
A new highlight and check selection method has been incorporated into the model tree view. This allows multiple selection of items from the tree view, the behavior of which will have the following affect on the model rule window.
To highlight a model or drawing from the tree view
To check (or uncheck) a model or drawing from the tree view
The Component column in the model rules list now clearly displays if the parameter being displayed belongs to a Part, Assembly or Drawing.
Quite often a captured drawing has the same name as the part or assembly it is associated to. Although the Name column includes an icon that also identifies the component type, including the reference in the Component column offers extra comfort in distinguishing between similarly named parameters across different component types.
