This Generation Task will insert a Join Feature in an Assembly.
Property Name | Description |

(Name) | The unique name for this Task. |
Combine multi-bodies | True to combine multi-bodies. False to take no action if multiple bodies exist as a result of the join. |
Join Part Name | The Part name, with Instance Number of the Part that the Join Feature will be inserted into.
Instance numbers will change when models are replaced in SOLIDWORKS. This Task requires the instance number to be as it is listed in the SOLIDWORKS Feature Manager. This will be different when running as a Pre Drive Task and Post Drive Task. For example: Running as a Pre Drive Task will require the master instance name and number. Running as a Post Drive Task will require the finalized instance name and number. We recommend running this through Model Insight to confirm instance names and numbers. |
Part To Use In Join | A pipebar (|) delimited string of Parts (with Instance Numbers) to use as the Join.

When naming Parts to be used it is important that the name(s) you enter for the properties are an exact match including case sensitivity and spaces.
The Parts and the Assembly must exist for this Task to work. This means new files need to be released and generated before the Generation Task can be run.
When this task is added the properties are both static and dynamic by default. See How To: Change A Static Property To A Dynamic Property to enable rules to be built on these properties.
