Session Management

DriveWorks Live License usage is reported directly in the browser.

This feature is available in the Web Theme and Application Theme from the Session Management Links.

To view Session Management you must log into the Theme as an administrator of the group.

Session Management displays the following information about each license in use.

  • Address - The IP Address of the machine using the license.
  • Host Name - The name of the machine using the license.
  • Browser Info - The user-agent string of the browser being used by the machine using the license.
  • Browser Name - The browser being used by the machine using the license.
  • Browser Version - The browser version being used by the machine using the license.
  • Connection Time - The length of time the machine using the license has been connected to the license.
  • Last Activity - The length of time since the machine using the license interacted with the session.
  • Active Specifications - Indicates if the user is running a specification.

    When no specification is running, the message There are no active specifications will be displayed.

    When a child specification is running:

    • The Web Theme will display the names of all specifications currently running. For example Top Level specification name and Child specification name.
    • The Application Theme will display the name of the Child specification only.

Access Session Management

Application Theme

  1. In your browser address bar enter the URL of the DriveWorks Live implementation.
  2. Log onto the implementation using your credentials (must have administrator privileges)
  3. Click the Session Management task from the task explorer.

Web Theme

  1. In your browser address bar enter the URL of the DriveWorks Live implementation.
  2. Log onto the implementation using your credentials (must have administrator privileges)
  3. Type /setup at the end of the URL.
  4. Click the session management link at the top of the setup page.

End User Sessions

Licenses can be freed from inactive users by selecting the session from the list and clicking the End User session

Application Theme

  1. Select the session to be ended from the session list.
  2. Click the End User Session button from the header bar.

Web Theme

  1. Select the session to be ended from the session list.
  2. Click the End User Session link at the top of the list.
