Specification Control Jobs

These jobs allow various actions to be scheduled for new and existing Specifications.

These jobs will send an email when run successfully.

The jobs available in this category are:

Create New Specification and Transition

This job creates a new Specification and runs a specified transition.

This requires some initial set-up within the Project.

  1. Create a Specification Macro named SchedulerTransition, that runs an Invoke Specification Transition Task.
  2. Connect the Argument (Start Node output) to the Transition Name Data Input on the Task.

Email Details

Uses the Mail Server settings applied in DriveWorks Autopilot to send job notifications.

Invoke Transition on Named Specification

This job runs a Transition on an existing Specification.

This can be run on multiple Specifications at the same time.

Run Action On all Specifications with This Property

This job will run an action on existing Specifications.

This can be based on the age of the Specification or on a property within a Specification.

Age in days The Age of a Specification in Days in which you want to action. 7
Property Value The Value this task will look for in the Specified Specification Property before running this task. “Ready For Transition”
Specification Property The Name of the Specification Property with which you want to match the Property Value against. “MySpecificationProperty”
Transition/Operation Option Group These options buttons allow you to specify if you would like to run an Operation or a Transition Transition
(Transition/Operation) NameThe name of the Transition/Operation you wish to Run.“MyTransitionName”
Exclude Archived Specification True if you would like to Exclude archived Specifications from being actioned, FALSE if you would like archived Specifications to be actioned. TRUE (checked)
