The View Buttons View lets you Add, Edit and Delete Buttons from Views inside the DriveWorks CPQ Template. Here you can manage the buttons that appear on your Views. As well as adding buttons, you can also control what DriveWorks Teams can access them within the User Interface.

There are two types of View Buttons in the DriveWorks CPQ Template. These are:
Dashboard Views contain Dashboard Buttons where as any other View contains Menu Bar Buttons
Properties
The following Properties can be set on a button.

Button Width (Pixels) | This is the width of the button to show in pixels. This goes up in 5 pixel increments. | 100 |
DriveWorks Specification Macro to Run | This is the DriveWorks Specification Maco to run in the current Project, not the one you are navigating to. | NewSpec |
DriveWorks Form to Show | This is the DriveWorks Form to show in the current Project, not the one you are navigating to. | SpecHost |
View Name | This is the name of the View to pass down to the Project you are going to run. | Contacts |
DriveWorks Project to Run | This is the DriveWorks Project to run in the Specification Host Control. | ListProject |
Menu Bar | This determines whether should be used in the Menu Bar or somewhere else on the form. TRUE to use it in the Menu Bar, FALSE to use it elsewhere.
This button grays out for Dashboard View buttons. | TRUE |
Button Permanent | This determines if the button should always be shown or if it should be shown based on a selection. TRUE to always show, FALSE to show based on a selection. | FALSE |
Permissions
Buttons can be hidden from certain Teams inside the DriveWorks CPQ Template. You can restrict a Teams access to certain areas.
Under the Permissions header, there are two lists. The one on the left is a list of all Teams within the Group and the list on the right is a list of Teams that have permission to this button.

Process
Buttons can be re-ordered in the Menu Bar by using the View Buttons View.
Use the Move Up and Move Down arrows on the Menu Bar to move the selected button up or down.
Button data is stored in the Group Table called Macros.
Button permissions are stored in the Group Table called MacroPermissions.
